Traditional Art

This is a collection to the projects I have worked on over the years. Each series varies in terms of the topics it examines and the media used. I invite you all to explore this collection of my fine art work which not only explores broad existential topics and current events,  but also parts of myself.

These projects all have their own creative pursuits and have presented different opportunities for myself to explore new ways of communicating with others through my art.

Although seemingly unrelated, they all provide a glimpse into my creative journey of finding myself as an artist and person while searching for my niche in the art community. I aim to share these as a way to showcase the development of my skill set, talents, and exploration of different types of media.

Nodus Tollens

This series was completed for the Month of Printmaking show Supporting Indigenous Sisters: An International Print Exchange where I was invited to participate as a guest artists. The collection of prints explores my relationship with religion over the years and serves as a way for me to reflect on numerous stages of my life, what they taught me, and how I got to where I am now.

This call for artists was headed by the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design to bring individuals together during the initial onset of the Covid-19 pandemic when much of the world was subjected to lockdowns. 2020 Senior Thesis

My senior thesis explored the concepts of light, time, and space. I used this series to explore how we gather information on the universe, how we interpret it, and experience it. The 27 pieces fall under three groups that explore each topic in greater detail.

That's Life

A short series of graphite portraits that examines loneliness in film. In it, I take key scenes from various films that serve as turning points for the characters and their struggles with isolation, loneliness, and anger towards the societies that have failed them.
