A short film directed by Denver artist Jaime Chihuan. He conducted an interview with me where I discussed and reflected on what it is like to be a Latino artist, the struggles I have encountered with my identity, and the projects I was working on at the time. He conducted interviews with several other Denver-based artists to highlight the layers of our experiences and how we navigate the challenges we face as Latino/Chicano artists.


Screwball Zine No. 2

The second issue of Screwball Zine, a personal zine curated by Ashley LeCron, also known as “WangoBangyArt.” Submissions were taken online after we connected through Instagram. My submissions included selected works from my series Astronomy Domaine, which were inspired by the concept of time and our perception of it. The theme of the zine was nostalgia.


Black Excellence in Color

A collection of art from students and staff at Regis University that celebrates black excellence in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement. These artworks were presented as a coloring book to allow the community to collaborate and share their creations in support of the Black Lives Matter organization. My submission included a stylized portrait of the musician, MF DOOM.


COVID in Color

A collection of artworks by participating artists presented as a coloring book that invites the community to collaborate by coloring and sharing pages. The book was conceived as a way for artists to express their feelings towards the COVID-19 pandemic and their experiences in living through it. The project was organized by the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, Colorado. My submissions included six illustrations that were inspired by prompts such as: going viral, zoom backgrounds, staying happy, quarantine cuisine, outside my window, toilet paper toils, reaching out, and love to essential workers.


Senior Thesis Exhibition Catalog
Print - Regis University | Published May 2020
A catalog featuring the collective works of the Visual Arts and Design graduating class of 2020 from Regis University. The catalog contains images and statements from students regarding their work, artistic journey, and creative process. My work was the painting series Astronomy Domaine: A Study of Light, Time, and Space. This series consists of 27 gouache paintings that study wavelengths of light and how we acquire information from them, time, and how our perception of reality is relative, and the place humans have in an incomprehensibly massive universe.
